I am just starting to create things using photoshop so I am new to all of these fonts and tools :) This may be a stupid questions but how do you add that line at the end of a word?

In photoshop cc, go to the Window menu and, from the drop down menu select "glyphs." You get the entire font options displayed there. You will notice that some of the glyphs are designed to be used at the beginning of a word only, others at the end, and some can be used anywhere. In your text, highlight the letter you want to change then go to the glyphs channel and select the letter you want to use as a substitute. Photoshop will replace the original with the one you chose.
The line you're talking about may just be an extended version of the simple letter or there may be little squiggles that you can attach at the end of a letter. Everything available is displayed in the glyphs window.
