Terms of Use

Last updated October 27, 2026

In short

  • You make vectors with AI and choose whether to share them. Anyone may use vectors they make or download in personal and commercial work, but not resell or give away the files themselves.
  • Vectors are not exclusive, and because AI makes them we can't promise they are free of other people's rights. Check before using one as a logo or on products sold at scale.
  • Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and are not refunded once used, except where the law says otherwise. Failed generations are refunded automatically.
  • You are responsible for your prompts, what you share, how you use downloads, and everything an AI app or API key does with your account.
  • “Editorial use only” vectors show a real brand and may only be used in news, blogs, education and commentary.

This summary is for convenience; the full Terms below apply.

1. These Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Inmagine Lab Pte Ltd, a company registered in Singapore at 36 Robinson Road, #20-01 City House, Singapore 068877 (“we”, “us”, “our”), and cover The Hungry JPEG website at thehungryjpeg.com, its editor, its MCP server and API, and everything else we provide under that name (the “Service”). By creating an account, buying credits or using the Service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for a company or other organization, you accept these Terms for it and confirm you are allowed to; “you” then means both you and that organization. If you don't accept these Terms, don't use the Service.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority or of digital consent where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms for you and is responsible for your use.
  • Give accurate information and keep it current. One account per person: don't create accounts to collect welcome credits, earn from your own downloads or get around a suspension.
  • Keep your sign-in, API keys and connected apps secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by anyone you let use it and by any AI app or key you connect. Tell us at info@123rf.com straight away if you think someone else has used it.
  • Your public profile shows your name, handle, bio and the vectors and collections you share. Choose a handle that doesn't impersonate anyone or infringe a trademark; we may change handles that do.

3. Credits and payments

  • What credits are. Credits are a limited, revocable right to use features of the Service, at the prices shown when you use them. They are not money, a deposit, a stored-value facility or property; they have no cash value, earn no interest, can't be sold, exchanged, transferred, cashed out or combined across accounts, and can't be used anywhere except on The Hungry JPEG.
  • Prices. Pack prices are shown at checkout in US dollars and include any tax we are required to charge unless shown otherwise. We may change pack prices and how many credits features cost at any time; changes don't affect packs you already bought, but credits are spent at the prices in force when you spend them.
  • Payment. Payments are processed by Adyen, under its terms; we never see your full card number. You confirm you are allowed to use the payment method. Your pack's credits are added once the payment is confirmed.
  • Refunds. All purchases are final and credits are not refunded, except where the law requires otherwise, where we charged you in error, or where we decide to as a goodwill gesture. When a generation fails, its credits go back automatically. Credits spent on a generation that finished, or on a download, are not refunded because you don't like the result. If you live in a country that gives consumers a right to cancel digital purchases (for example the EU or UK), you ask us to make credits available immediately and agree that you lose that right once you start using them.
  • Reversed payments. If a payment is refunded, reversed or charged back, we remove that pack's credits. If you've already spent them your balance may go below zero, which we take from future credits, and we may suspend the account until it is settled. Don't file a chargeback before contacting us; unjustified chargebacks are a breach of these Terms.
  • Welcome and earned credits. Welcome credits are given once per person and per device, at our discretion, and expire 30 days after they are given. Credits you buy, earn or receive from us don't expire while your account is open, but all credits end when your account is closed (unless the law says otherwise) or if we close it for a breach of these Terms.
  • Corrections. We may correct or remove credits that came from a mistake, a technical fault, abuse or fraud, including credits earned through fake, arranged or self-made downloads, multiple accounts or refunded payments.

4. Making vectors with AI

Vectors are made by third-party AI models from your words and, for remixes and “More in this style”, from a reference vector. AI results can be unexpected, inaccurate, imperfect or offensive, and can resemble existing work, including work made for other people from similar prompts. We check prompts and results automatically, and may review them by hand, to block content that breaks these Terms, such as brand names, logos, known characters and sexual content; these checks are not perfect, and you must not try to get around them. You are responsible for your prompts and for making sure you have the right to use any words, names or ideas in them.

5. Who owns what

  • Your vectors. As between you and us, and to the extent any rights exist in them, we transfer to you any rights we hold in vectors generated from your prompts (“your vectors”), subject to these Terms, our right to store, process and show them to provide the Service, and the license you give when you share them. The law on rights in AI-made content is unsettled and differs between countries, so we don't promise that your vectors are protected by copyright, that you can stop others from using similar designs, or that they are free of other people's rights.
  • Not exclusive. Other people may receive identical or similar results, and anyone who downloads a vector you share may use it under the license in section 7.
  • Our property. We and our licensors own the Service: the site, software, design, our brand and logos, previews, mockups, the curation and arrangement of the library, and the vectors made by our house studios. Except for the licenses these Terms give you, you get no rights in them.
  • Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely without owing you anything.

6. Sharing your vectors and earning credits

  • Choosing to share. Your vectors are shared only when you share them, with the “Share all 4” setting (on by default when you generate on the site; vectors made through AI apps and the API are private unless shared) or one by one. You can stop sharing a vector at any time.
  • The license you give us. When you share a vector you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, copy, display, adapt (for example resizing, recoloring for previews and placing on mockups), distribute and promote it on The Hungry JPEG, in search engines, in our marketing and on social media, and to license it to other users under section 7. This license continues for copies people downloaded before you stopped sharing, and for our marketing already published; otherwise it ends when you stop sharing or we remove the vector.
  • Your promise. You confirm that sharing the vector, and our use of it under these Terms, doesn't infringe anyone's rights or break any law or these Terms.
  • Earning. Each time someone else downloads a vector you shared you earn 2 of its 3 credits, and you earn 5 when someone builds on it, but only from credits that person bought or earned, not welcome credits, and only once per downloader. Earnings are credits under section 3: they can't be cashed out. We may change earning rates or end earning for the future, and remove earnings that came from abuse or refunded payments.
  • Our choice. We decide what appears in the library, search, House picks and promotions, and may hide, remove or stop showing any vector at any time, including while we review a report.

7. License for vectors you make or download

For each vector you made, or downloaded with your account, we give you a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual license (subject to the rest of these Terms) to use, copy, edit and adapt it in personal and commercial projects, including:

  • products you sell, such as shirts, mugs, stickers, prints, cards, signs and other merchandise, including print on demand, with no limit on how many you sell;
  • websites, apps, social media, advertising, packaging, presentations, videos and printed matter;
  • work you make for clients, who may use the finished work you deliver to them (but not the separate files);
  • combining it with other artwork, and editing it in our editor or any other software.

You may not:

  • sell, sublicense, share or give away the files themselves, or versions that are substantially the same, alone or in packs, bundles, templates, mockup kits, libraries or font products, or upload them to other marketplaces, stock sites or file-sharing services where other people can get the file;
  • register a vector, or anything substantially based on one, as a trademark, design right or copyright, or claim it as exclusively yours, since other people may use the same vector;
  • use a vector in a logo or trademark without first checking it is clear for that use (you do so at your own risk);
  • use vectors, the library or our previews to train, fine-tune or test AI or machine-learning models, or to build a dataset or a competing service;
  • use a vector in a way that is unlawful, defamatory, deceptive or obscene, that suggests a person or brand endorses you when they don't, or that breaks section 10.

No credit to us is required. Versions you save in our editor are covered by the same license as the vector they came from. If you break these Terms, or the vector is removed because of a valid rights claim, your license for that vector ends and you must stop using it in new work, where the law allows us to require that.

8. Editorial-use-only vectors

Some vectors show a real brand, logo or branded product, for example a vehicle badge, and are marked “Editorial use only”. You may use them only in editorial work: news, articles, blogs, education, commentary and reviews. You may not use them on products or merchandise, in advertising or promotion, as a logo, or in any way that suggests the brand owner made or endorses your work. You confirm this each time you download one. Brand owners keep all rights in their brands, and we give no license to them. Vectors showing known characters are not shared at all.

9. AI apps, MCP and the API

  • You may connect AI apps (for example Claude or ChatGPT) to your account through our MCP server, or use our API with an API key. Everything they do with your account counts as done by you: generations they start spend your credits, and their results are your vectors under these Terms.
  • Each connection has a daily credit limit you choose. It is a safety feature, not a guarantee: you remain responsible for watching your account, keeping keys secret, and disconnecting apps or deleting keys you no longer trust.
  • We set speed and usage limits and may change them, and may change, limit, suspend or end the MCP server, the API or any connection at any time.
  • You may not resell or give others access to the API, use it to build a competing service or dataset, bulk-download the library, or get around limits or checks.
  • Third-party AI apps are run by their providers under their own terms and privacy policies; we aren't responsible for them or for what they do with what they receive.

10. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to make, share, request or download anything, or to do anything, that:

  • is unlawful, or helps someone break the law;
  • sexualizes minors in any way, or is sexually explicit;
  • is hateful, harassing, threatening or violent, or promotes self-harm, terrorism or violent extremism;
  • infringes or misuses anyone's copyright, trademark, design, likeness, privacy or other rights, including brands, logos and known characters;
  • shows a real, identifiable person without their permission, or is meant to deceive people about who made it or what it shows;
  • contains malware, spam or misleading content;
  • abuses the Service: multiple accounts, fake or arranged downloads, credit farming, scraping, crawling or bulk-downloading outside our API's limits, reverse engineering, probing or testing our security without written permission, or interfering with the Service or other users.

11. Reports, copyright notices and takedowns

Use “Report this vector” on any vector page, or email info@123rf.com. If you believe something on the Service infringes your rights, send us: who you are and how to reach you; what you own; the address of each vector concerned; why you believe it infringes; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized; and a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, with your signature (typing your full name is enough). We may hide vectors while we review, remove them, and share the notice with the person who shared the vector, who may reply with their own explanation. We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe. Knowingly false notices may make you liable for the harm they cause.

12. Other services

The Service relies on and links to services run by others, including payment, sign-in, AI and hosting providers. Their terms apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for them.

13. Disclaimers

The Service, the vectors and everything else we provide are given “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties, express or implied, including that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that results will meet your needs or be accurate, original or unique, or that any vector is free of other people's rights, and we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a purpose and non-infringement. Keep your own copies of files you need: we may lose, change or delete stored content, and we aren't a backup service.

14. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data or opportunity, however caused, even if we were told it might happen; and our total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for credits in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't legally be limited, and nothing takes away rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.

15. Your responsibility to us

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Inmagine Lab Pte Ltd, its group companies, and their officers, employees and agents against any claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your prompts, the vectors you share, your use of vectors and the Service (including through AI apps and API keys connected to your account), your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of anyone's rights. We may take control of the defense of any such claim, and you will cooperate with us. This section doesn't apply to the extent a claim is caused by our own breach of these Terms.

16. Suspension and closing accounts

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close your account, remove content, cancel credits or block access, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you broke these Terms or the law, created risk or harm for us or others, or if we must do so by law; we may also stop offering the Service or any part of it. When an account is closed, unused credits end (unless the law says otherwise), and private vectors are deleted as described in our Privacy Policy. Licenses for vectors you downloaded before closing continue, unless the account was closed for a breach. Sections that by their nature should continue (including 3, 5, 6, 7, 13, 14, 15, 17 and 18) continue after closure.

17. Law and disputes

These Terms, and any dispute about them or the Service, are governed by the laws of Singapore. Before starting any formal proceedings, contact us at info@123rf.com so we can try to resolve it within 30 days. If we can't, the dispute will be finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre under its rules in force at the time, by a single arbitrator, seated in Singapore, in English. Disputes are resolved individually: you and we agree not to bring or take part in class, collective or representative actions. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in a small claims court, or ask a court for urgent relief to protect intellectual property or confidential information. If you are a consumer and the law where you live gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts or under its laws, this section doesn't take that right away.

18. Changes and general terms

  • We may update these Terms. We'll show the date at the top and, for important changes, tell account holders by email or on the site before they apply. If you keep using the Service after changes apply, you accept them; if you don't accept them, stop using the Service and you may close your account.
  • These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any terms shown when you buy or use a feature are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies, and that part is applied as far as the law allows. If we don't enforce a right, we haven't waived it.
  • You may not transfer your account or these Terms. We may transfer them to a group company or to a buyer of our business, and use subcontractors.
  • We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of the AI, hosting and payment providers we rely on.
  • No one other than you and us has rights under these Terms, except our group companies under section 15. If we translate these Terms, the English version applies.
