As a watercolor painter myself, I have tried my best to make this effect as authentic and carefully detailed as possible. The paper texture is scanned from authentic 80lb cold press watercolor paper, and, after the effect is applied, colors are pushed into realistic watercolor shades and densities based on my own Cotman watercolor palette. The salted effect is based on a scan of a real salted-watercolor wash. I have several watercolor/painted effects for sale; each one is unique and works differently.
